All Rotors on sub grid responding to any control input for single rotor

I was in the process of creating a boom arm, but I found this to be particularly interesting. If I have two rotors, one of them being on a sub grid, and I press the control input from the control seat, Both respond to the input as if they were one. Is this a bug? Should they work if they are on different tool bars?
I have attached the video bellow.
NOTE: I have accidentally posted this originally as feedback rather than as a bug. If a MOD could be so kind as to remove it as I currently can not figure out for the life of me how to close it out.
