[BUG] 2.2.0.1972 - Can't paste station Blueprint into the soil on planets
Hi Keen Team!
I have noticed that I can't paste my station blueprint directly on the planet soil in creative and survival modes, I must add 1 to 2 large armor blocks on the soil first to allow placing the station Blueprint on it and avoid the temporary blocks that places my station way above the planet soil.
STR
1 - Create a new survival world from the "New game" button.
2 - Load and try to paste a station Blueprint of about 16 000 PCU,
3 - Notice the game will create the temporary "Pillar" under the Blueprint that is way too high when your station Blueprint is made to have its first floor at soil level.
4 - Also tested in creative mode and it is the same, I must add a few armor blocks to paste the station Bp closer to the planet soil.
Images with short descriptions showing the problem :
In survival on Verdure Planet - The station is way too high above the soil :
Placing 1 or 2 armor blocks into the soil first allowed me to place the Station Bp on it :
Same in the creative mode world on KEMIK,
had to place 2 armor block into the soil first to allow the pasting closer to the soil :

I have the same bug

Hello Daniel Dupuis,
I believe that this issue is based on where you were aiming at the Grid when creating a blueprint. I was able to sink half of the Station in the Voxels, pasting it after aiming at the landing pads.
Please try to place the blueprint in space and while aiming at a higher point of the Grid save it as blueprint again and then spawn that new blueprint on a planet's surface.
Let me know if this helps.
Kind Regards,
Bartosz

Yes, the "handle" for a blueprint is wherever your pointer is aiming at when you press Ctrl-B.
When I first tried to weld a freighter, quite big, I could not place it on its front because I was moving it from the middle. I went into a creative world, spawned the ship and made a new bp by pointing right where I wanted to paste it, at the front entrance's catwalk.
My guess worked! I could go back in survival, paste it and weld it up!
