keybinds in 2.2 NOT WORKING

Been waiting months for keybinds to be added. installed 2.2 configured my keybinds for movement on arrow keys. up=forward down=backwards etc..... enter the game press forwards and the character looks at his feet. ZERO MOVEMENT. Did the DEVS EVEN CHECK THIS ?
