Ore mass units incorrect

In cargo, ore mass in thousands of kilograms is shown with "k" suffix, although I understand the logic behind using that (1k = 1000) it is incorrect according to metric system. Like saying 1 kilo-kilo-grams. The hover info shows it correctly as 1t.
