When debugging in SE1, you're limited to using the "pause" feature to slow time. This is often not precise enough to debug fast/complex sequences and you can't build/access terminals when paused.
Having some way of slowing down time, stepping ticks or allowing full functionality while being paused would be super helpful for debugging builds. It would be possible to debug a missile interceptor ticks before impact or figuring out what part of your ship breaks first in a collision.
A feature like this exists in minecraft, where its since become unmissable by technical communities, I think it would be a great fit for SE2 too.
