Creative mode projection Pasting

In creative with its copy and paste feature, can we have the option to paste projection blocks then have them fill if we want them to? Being force to trouble shoot where blocks intersect on larger builds becomes troublesome when pasting in large sections and knowing the issue or simply overlapping will help tremendously
