Expanding Conveyor gameplay

I really like the requirement of embedding converyors into ship and building designs for hydrogen thruster fuel and inventory sharing.
Being able to put other thruster types anywhere without having to route power/fuel to them seems like a missed opportunity in the current build.
Are there any plans to include the other thruster catagories into the conveyor/fuel requirements or other plans in the works for more reasons to design converyor systems into our builds?
