SE2: Thrust Dampeners not functioning properly based on cockpit orientation
Seemingly I've unfortunately discovered that my thrust dampeners do not function properly on my small ship. Whenever I turn my ship while holding W or S to go forward or backward, the left and right (port/starboard) facing thrusters do not dampen the sideways motion UNTIL i take my finger off the W key. I then found if I place a new cockpit but make it facing a new direction degrees, the dampeners then function properly.
See attached video where I enter my fighter and only press W while turning the ship. You'll notice the left and right thrusters are not firing to stop the sideways momentum until i take my hand off the W key. I then place a new cockpit but facing the left and the thruster dampeners function properly as they should.
I have tried this on multiple worlds. Have been able to replicate it on other ships by placing a cockpit block facing sideways and testing the dampening..
Is there anyway to fix this other than having to rebuild my ship in a new orientation?
I have the same bug
Hello ATalkingRock,
Could you please provide a blueprint of your affected Grid or the Save File where the issue occurs? Is there anything specific you did while building this ship?
Kind Regards,
