Grasshopper just vanished

Need More Information

I'm in the initial quest line. I flew my grasshopper to the crashed large ship, went in, looked around, and when I came out, the grasshopper was just gone, along with all the stuff I'd stored in it. I DID land it and lock the landing pads. I'd landed on the crashed ship itself, if that makes any difference. Let me know if you need any other details.

I could not reproduce this issue. Where exactly did you land you Grasshopper? Additionally, could you provide a video recording of this issue?

Hi Bartosz,

I wasn't recording, I'll look into how to do that. I approached from the end that's hanging out over the cliff, went to the left side, and touched down on the roof of the ship, in the middle where it's flat. I hit P to lock it down, then hit Y to power down so i didn't waste battery.

One thing that would have made this easier would be the mechanism in SE where i can set it to do autosaves every 5 minutes and keep like 30 of them. I DO very much like the feature that lets me duplicate a save.

I'll see if I have something saved near then and see if I can replicate this for you.

Ok, well, I created a new set of problems. I started a new runthru, and decided to bring all the ice from the Hydrogen Testing Facility with me this time because I'm a packrat. Because I put it in the hydrogen ship when I arrived, which is out of the order of the quests, I now am not getting the prompt to go to the crashed ship after still heading up and gathering more ice at the Ice Mine.

I fixed the quest thing by removing all ice, hovering the ship for a couple minutes, then re-adding the ice. But you should make the quest so that as long as the objective is done it works.
