Grid mass do not update immediately if <50kg dropped with RMB

If you sit in cockpit of your ship, have something heavy in character inventory, and press RMB, it drops outside, and grid mass in lower right corner decreases at the same time.
But if you drop any instrument, consumable, component or ore weighting less than 50kg (any amount one by one), grid weight isn't recalculated until you exit cockpit, and enter it again.
p.s. this 50kg rule works not all times, sometimes even something a little heavier don't change grid mass.
