Not exactly 50% of the time, but somewhere around half the time I try to do undo, it says buffer cleared instead of undoing anything.
Today, this was part of a rage quit series of bugs. I was working on a ship in creative mode. Jolly Green Giant cargo ship, space miner, planetary miner, building out the habitation on the front of the Jolly Green Giant. I realized I needed another 2.5m for the habitation section and decided to cut off the front of the ship, insert another 2.5m of walls, and paste the front of the ship back on. Yay for new design tools!
1) Ctrl-X deletes everything in view, not just the grid under focus or the Ctrl-P explicit selection. Ctrl-X deleted my ship, the two miners on separate grids, everything in my field of view or part of any grid in my field of view.
2) Ctrl-Z did not undo the Ctrl-X. Told me that the buffer was empty or cleared or equivalent.
3) Ctrl-X did not save to the clipboard. I tried to immediately move away from the asteroid and use Ctrl-V to paste. Nothing. Not even an indication that there was anything to paste.
4) At this point, I attempted to load the game from a recent save. It had saved just after the Ctrl-X deleted everything in view. My last save to a new name was 3 hours ago and because SE2 doesn't keep the five most recent saves, 3 hours of design and iteration was lost.
Keyboard and mouse are OK. Cat is curious why I stomped away from my computer.
