Game breaking bug welding

I've gotten to a point in the game with about 143,000 PCU that I'm having trouble welding any blocks without the game crashing on me... I can mine, fly around, but I can't weld up any new blocks
I have the same bug
Hmm I've been trying to leave a ticket about a game breaking bug I'm having for the past week. this is the first thread I've gotten to submit it usually just spins once i click the submit button.
But I've gotten to where i can mine... and i've even built some other blocks... but there is a ship i'm building and any block i try weld on it insta crash

Been testing all night. It seems the problem may lie in the ship I'm building being connected to the larger ship. via a docking connector. i think that is referred to as a subgrid?
But the game was having trouble writing the block status of the conveyor into the save file i believe?
