Copy/Paste Grid as Stationary Obejct aligned to Asteroid

Placed a Blueprint attached to Asteroid. I aligned it to a structure already there, but as a new stationary grid.
If you cut and paste over and over, they seem to separate from each other, cool affect if you want destroyed ship or station in space, but not quite what I needed ATM :P
Seems to have occurred as I pressed "B" and changed the gravity-aligned and paste within proximity of the Asteroid only. Copy/Paste further out in space seemed to be fine.
Blocks come apart bit by bit as if they're not connected to each other.
I have the same bug
EDIT: After more testing, maybe the issue is started by the alignment of the blocks. I noticed on the Truss (2.5m) blocks, they mis-align by 0.25m at times no matter the snapping size selected
