After Hand drilling a tunnel, I cant get back out properly

So I find an ore deposit and start drilling down to it. Once I’ve got my ore I turn around and try to get out of the tunnel. I have to wiggle my way out and constantly drill because the tunnel is too small. I don’t fit through it properly unless I go back out of it the exact same way I came into it which obviously isnt possible. Please make drilling larger or amend the collision box
