No Longer Playable on Steam Deck
Not a Bug
As title says, prior to the planets and survival update the game worked fine with no apparent issues. Since the update launching the game causes it to instantly crash. I have tried uninstalling, reinstalling and verifying files, nothing worked. Something was implemented in the newest update the breaks the game for steam deck and makes it completely incompatible.
Game is still listed on steam as playable, which is now misleading and untrue.

Space Engineers 2 does not support Linux based systems which includes Steam OS installed on Steam Deck.
Please note that we do not perform tests of Steam Deck in regards to its compatibility, the rating comes from Valve's own testing as part of their Steam Deck Verified (and the related SteamOS Compatibility) programs:
Additionally, with VS2 release we have enabled the ability to revert the Game version to VS1.5, accessible through Betas tab in Game's properties:
As this is expected behavior, I will close this thread.
