Crash When Grinding

After realising that the big ship I was building in SE2 Survival was in the wrong place, I started to grind it down. After a few goes with the grinder I get a DOS box saying something about a memory dump and the game crashes to desktop.
Base is on the starter platform but considerably expanded with all production machinery and several tons of most minerals. I don't know if the amount of items in the world contribute to the problem. After reading some posts here I consciously made sure I did not fill inventory while grinding, offloading from my backpack at around 80%.
I have tried to attach the ProcessFailureDump.dmp file but is won't take it.
I was really getting into SE2 up to this point. I hope this is an easy one.
