Please Don't Dumb Down The Game Too Much

Hello Se1 vet with my jabber,

Se2 is a lot of fun and i see a HELL of a lot of potential and i get you want to it be more "Accessible" But by doing things like dumbing down the Production i.e Removing ingots, Welding right from ore and the like, i feel it kind of betrays what space engineers is supposed to be about.

The complexity of the game doesn't need to be dumbed down for it to be accessible it just needs to be explained properly take the current introduction, dose a verry good job at onboarding the player and letting them know what to expect for the rest of the game it was a very nice and helpful addition, Then you get out into space and think "Let's get a base built" and honestly this is where i lost my "Hell Yeah" feeling, i cant refine my ore into ingots? "hmm ok i don't like that but lets push on" so i load up a BP i brought from SE1 and started to build, Immediately the welder felt like i needed to face plant the block to weld it and made building feel lacking, Welding right from ore felt "Arcady" and just wrong. So i setup basic production and its just feels gross, no refinement, ore-comp-block.

Honestly at that point i checked out, having a refinery line, with my assemblers and everything feeding and running sweet is one of the best feelings! and its gone so i feel like dumbing it down too much yes will bring more people but will push away the more dedicated SE players.

SE1 Never had a mechanics problem and people did and still love the way the "Loop" is in SE1 the problem was Lacking content, After making a ship or nice base all that's left is exploration and honestly lacking encounters. IF SE2 had the basic loop Ore>Ingot>comp>Block then with the new systems that come with Rage2.0 like Water, Atmo, Things we used to have to Mod in now being native with the loop that made SE what it is would make for some INSANE Builds/Community's/Mods/World/Server types the potential is endless!

All in the Basic SE1 frame work with the new SE2 ideas would be the base for something ground breaking.
