Crash despite using recommended specs

so i have equipment in my PC that are well above the recommended specs, yet my AMD adrenaline is having graphics card driver timeouts just for existing a couple of minutes in the game. none of my other games are doing this and I for the life of me can't find anything out on my end, leaving me to wonder if it is anything insufficient about my system, or improperly done. drivers are up to date, no corrupted data, no problems on any of my software. I would like to see if there is any possibility that the game may need to be optimized, or further, maybe there are some steps one would need to take that aren't readily known. anything to provide that can allow me to be able to play the game without crashes will be vastly appreciated.
