The icons on the hud are way too big

When moving around in space I usually can't see the destination grid or asteroid until I'm nearly on top of it. Please either remove the icons entirely, make them smaller or even transparent. (I'd rather they were removed. The important info is the location not the marker's 'type'. For type, colour works well enough.
Also, there's a big border in which the hud stops drawing the exact location and switches to an arrow, often way off in terms of pointing directly from the center of the screen. Please display the marker until it's actually off the screen.
