Critical game freeze during ship destruction

I’ve discovered a serious bug that occurs when a ship crashes. At the moment the vessel starts to break apart, the game may freeze completely - it stops responding to player input. The game only unfreezes after several minutes
I’ve attached a video demonstrating this issue for clarity.
