Inventory UI Scaling

I'm finding the inventory UI to be extremely frustrating. All of the images are so large, I can only get a few cargo containers in view at once, when my screen could easily show many more. It is a constant war of scrolling to see everything.
It feels like the interface was designed to be used across a living room, as on a console, rather then at a desk. Please let us scale the item images, so I can see all my cargo.
