.2.39 Lockup and crash 4th contract mission SE2

Need More Information

Game was fine over the last weekend. Now it randomly locks up ever since mondays update. I was just walking around the base going to the landing pad. I had just updated my drivers for my RTX 3060 from Gigabyte. No change. Says I don't meet sys req on startup, but I believe I do.

It seems like the video freeze up and crash is back at it. What is it that you reverted back to Keen? I had no recent problems until today. Its back to the same freeze up near the planet surface that was happening before.

Hello Joel D Roderick,

From the logs you've provided I can see that your issue is different from one in the Report. As such, please create a new thread about it.

Hello Jonathon Brandemihl,

The warning about not meeting minimal requirements is appearing for you due to Windows being unable to find partitions on the drive on which the Game is installed.

As for the crash, from the logs I can see that the reason for it is your GPU freezing probably due to high VRAM usage. We are currently working on a solution for a memory leak here: It takes several seconds to open any menu everytime | Space Engineers 2 Support which I believe may be connected to your problem.

However, what we can try right now is:

1 - Lower your Graphical Settings - The logs say that you are running on High Preset with Ray Tracing on Medium. Please start with turning off the Ray Tracing and then switching to Medium Preset.

2 - Try disabling the GPU overclocking if your GPU is overclocked

3 - Check if your GPU does not reach high temperatures - (≤75–80°C)

Let me know if this helps.

Kind Regards,

Bartosz
