Need More Information

Hello,

SE2 crashes my PC hard. The machine is not responding so i have to switch it off. Before the crash happen, sound starts crackling and shortly after i have to switch off the PC. That really sucks, because the game is not playable.

Hello Tom G,

I could not find anything in the logs you've provided they all end abruptly. As such, I have a few questions:

1 - Is your GPU overclocked? If yes please try to run the Game without the overclocking.

2 - I see that you are running the Game with "-devmode" command. The Game does not need any launch command for entering developer console (Currently it should work with Ctrl+F12). Is there any other reason you are using this command? Have you tried running the Game without it?

3 - Have you checked if your GPU does not reach high temperatures? - (≤75–80°C)

Kind Regards,

No, the GPU is not overclocked.

I don´t know actually. I removed it.

Yes, no high temperatures.

How much ram do you have? I have plenty but a bunch is in use when I play this game 10-15gb.

Also if it's crashing. Open Task Manager and see if your HDD's are running at 100%. So go to performance tab and have TM open. See if your Disk is hitting 100% read/write. (Likely not an issue, but I dealt with what you're talking about on other games. Turns out it was just my old hard drive).

Just checking peripherals. Else defer to Bartosz. :)
