Backup saving feature

I think backup saves are very important and should be added to the game, like in SE1. sometimes, when you don't notice the speed and crash your ship or when you make a wrong decision you want to go back but the autosave only saved a few seconds earlier and you can't go back further than that. let's not say, “Keep auto-save off so this situation doesn't happen,” because this time, no one wants to go back to the last save from an hour ago it would make them lose interest in the game.
