Flickering display after docking

I started the new "Starting at Vallation Station" world. I accepted a mission, then undocked and docked the sledge.
After docking and prior to exiting the vehicle, the screen is flickering madly between first person cockpit view and a third person station view.

Helpful hint: Entering and exiting Map mode using M seems to have fixed the issue.
