Minimum Requirement Check should not prevent launch
My game ran perfectly fine since the release of VS2 and my system is well above the recommended specs. However since Hotfix 2.02.33 the game refuses to launch stating that the game has crashed because "Your system does not meet the minimum requirements".
Checking the logs you can find this error "Cannot proceed detecting the drive."
The issue seems to be related to virtual drives split across multiple physical drives.
(Which also affects Linux users since Proton uses a similar virtual drive setup, I know Linux isn't officially supported but I felt I should mention it.)
There are already other bug reports reporting this issue such as:
I am not filing this to report that issue, I am rather suggesting that the automated minimum requirements check should NOT cause the game to crash if it doesn't pass. Since as evidenced by the other reports, the automated check can fail due to unexpected system setups AND even if the user is on an unsupported system. They should atleast be able to launch the game, the existing main menu warning popup was fine as is and it should be returned to that.
If this is not possible/a desired functionality, atleast add a launch option to bypass the intentional crash caused by the check failing.
Because as it stands I cannot play the game that was functioning perfectly just days ago at all now because the automated check thinks it might not run well.
