Suit mods idea.
I have the mods in my suit for SE2. I found that, because I'm a veteran, I never ran out of whatever it was enough to need it. Never used them. This got me thinking. What if those 5 slots were suit mods instead of just emergency health or h2/else?
What if the mods added x% more fuel or more health. Keep the 5 slots. Maybe I'm building in a less favorable environment like space. I want lots of energy and lots of oxygen to be able to stay out longer and do more before needing to go back to a survival kit/med bay. I can pack 3 Energy mods on and 2 oxygen tanks. It increases my energy by (example:) 30% or so and increases the amountof oxygen in my suit by 20% (could be more, depends on the decay rates set inside the game. Balance out what you think is good). Then the things like a medkit, powerkit, or oxygen/hydrogen bottle can be used to restore out in the field, but will be consumables.
