Battery is not charging

I have a base with batteries and a reactor. I land and connect my ship to the base, want to charge ships battery. But my base doesnt give energy to the ship. Nor the battery neither the reactor. Changing mode to dis/charge/auto doesnt help.

Does this issue still occurs for you on current Game version: 2.0.2.51? Is your ship powered ON or OFF while docked?

I've noticed if you turn off ship power with 'Y' the batteries in your ship won't charge. Is this perhaps your issue?
