Prospector quest auto failing

"Engineering - Lost asteroid Base" quest
I have attempted this quest about 8 times, even with preloaded components in an attempt to speedrun the quest, because about 90 seconds after getting in range on the base, where it asks me to move the debris, it will autofail no matter what I do. I am able to repair the solar panels in that time, but I'm unable to carry all the materials for the survival kit and the forge as well. I ran out of time by then.
I was hoping there was logs for this but i'm unable to find them in the game.
I have the same bug Access denied
