Conveyor Adaptor end cannot transport gasses like hydrogen (oxygen not yet included)

Conveyour adaptor end cannot transport gasses (hydrogen) . The thruster on the back is working on the small conveyor line and when i put an adaptor , it wont work anymore , On the largest conveyor it works so only the conveyor adaptor is broken
