Projector building as a suit upgrade

Been playing SE2 VS2 for a few hours now, really enjoying it!

I think the projector building is great actually, I just think it's WAY too powerful and limits the ability for the user to choose to build things like we used to in SE1, placing the initial component as a frame first.

I propose it would be a really great progression of gameplay to have initial building accomplished identical to SE1, where you place down the first component and it places the frame into the world.

Then, make the projector building some sort of suit upgrade. I don't know if these are planned, but I think it could be an avenue to a lot of really neat gameplay where it means you have to build up an assembler before you have the ability to project grids from your suit where building. It would be important to make this upgrade either toggle-able or removeable, so that we could still build the "old" way from SE1. This would allow for tipping rovers over without having to weld things up, since the projection won't do anything about that and you would have to weld up blocks to get the mass where you want it to be to tip your rover or ship over.

Additional upgrades to the suit could include things like power efficiency, hydrogen use efficiency, extra headlight range, suit antenna range, GPS placement, more inventory space, even additional components that could be "made" in the backpack for more complex assemblies. The possibilities are pretty endless. I know this may not exist, but IIRC there was a mod for SE1 that had suit upgrades as a feature. I think I saw it in Splitsie's Assertive Acquisitions series. Can't find it in the modlist though.

Anyways, Just my thought.
