Returning from a contract that requires you to repair a mining ship and inspect the hollow rock, I connected the miner ship using the connector located at the bottom of both ships. The game saved and then crashed. Every time you restart the game, it crashes within 3 seconds. Right before the game crashes, the bottom ship (which is the miner ship) looks to disappear, and then the game crashes. I have uploaded the crash report that another post said to upload. Hope this helps
survival mode: crash to desktop when tugging bullfrog miner from mission site to kemik station
As no one else was using the bullfrog miner from the "Engineering - Asteroid Expedition" mission i thought it would be smart to bring it back to the starting platform to help with construction. Thus I connected it to the hydrogen ship to take it on the way back to kemik station to complete the contract.
Upon entering the station bubble the bullfrog miner poofs into dust and the game crashes to desktop.
i am not asking for this scenario i concocted to work out the way i expected. i'm here because i'm suspecting some issue with a ship that is destroyed while connected to another that isn't, is causing a crash.
A save seems to be in this zip i found in the CrashReports temp folder. To reproduce, simply fly to the station. I tried it 3 times and it crashed every time.
Hope it helps!
I have the same bug
Here is the video of it crashing https://youtu.be/IBkZQAWkRQA

It is possible to bring the bullfrog into the station bubble while it is not connected to the sledge, so i suppose my plan may work out.
Also the crash will still occur after the mission is turned in.
