I chopped down some trees and rocks in my world and then left the world, but the next time i loaded the world again they were back physically but visually invisible.

Yes, I also cut down some trees to clear the area for the base. After that, I didn't understand why I couldn't put up the blocks, even though there was nothing stopping them, until a tree appeared in front of me in the place where I wanted to put the block. I cut it down, but then I accidentally came across invisible trees near my base. I've cut down these invisible trees before too.
