If each grid has points based on its size and power and each weapon has sliders to distribute them between things like range accuracy penetration rate of fire. Then give us a system for building our own weapons we can make them look and preform like whatever we want. This might be more work than making prebuilt weapons but it will feel like there are hundreds of weapons in the game. And u can have npc grid roll for a tuning profile so the same encounter can feel different every time.
