Mining and building

I’ll start with Mining, I’m not sure if drill mining from a ship is completed in development or not, but I tested out a miner I built and when I was mining an asteroid the ship was moving in a jumpy sporadic type of way and it’s hard to control the ship.
My 2nd concern is that when building a ship if you have a small gap in between the ship you are building and the grid you are building it on, and you are in that small gap. If you rotate or look in such a way it will bang you around in between the two like a pinball machine and create clouds of dust, to the point where it will make your FPS drop and give a small lag.

I tried using the mining ship that was given right when you load into creative. That ship worked fine, I suppose it has something to do with the 3 drills being in a triangle pattern. please fix this, as it affects our level of creativity when it comes to customization of ships
