Need More Information

I get a NoSupportedDevice error on launch. the game refuses to launch. This computer originally started with an Intel A770 and the appropriate drivers, but the NoSupportedDevice error persists even without drivers, when the device is disabled, and when the device is totally disconnected from the PC altogether.

tried combinations of hardware:

A770 with drivers + 1070 with drivers +AMD integrated graphics

A770 without drivers + 1070 with drivers + AMD integrated graphics

A770 with drivers + 1070 without drivers + AMD integrated graphics

1070 with drivers + AMD integrated graphics

A770 with drivers + AMD integrated graphics

a770 without drivers + AMD integrated graphics

1070 without drivers + AMD integrated graphics

AMD integrated graphics

A770 with drivers + 1070 with drivers + disabled AMD integrated graphics

A770 without drivers + 1070 with drivers + disabled AMD integrated graphics

A770 with drivers + 1070 without drivers + disabled AMD integrated graphics

1070 with drivers + disabled AMD integrated graphics

A770 with drivers + disabled AMD integrated graphics

no change in error. this 1070 was functional with an intel 6700k CPU before this PC was build, still works fine. all drivers were up to date.

Hello Nick Dorn,

Could you please provide us with game logs and your PC's specification?

You can find the logs here:

  • C:\Users\(Your username)\AppData\Roaming\SpaceEngineers2\Temp\Logs

The logs will look like this:

532d9a5c8b42d0218ec9d0ba5165cacf

As for the PC specification, please use dxdiag app which is included in Windows OS:

  1. In Run bar type: dxdiag
    8ee40b61f4b69730a7890c6a4693134c
  2. Once the app finishes gathering information, press Save All Information - this will create a text file that you can attach here
