Suggestions for jetpack acceleration and shaking

Instead of character screen shaking each time you accelerate, how about having a small-time delay when letting off the accelerator so shaking doesn't happen every button press and additionally, if possible, we could send pulses with button presses to maintain a certain speed after the initial shaking.

The shaking is irritating to some of us and the all or nothing speed acceleration doesn't seem to use the full potential of the jetpack's speed control.

I realize the whole shaking and charging thing is to power up the jetpack for a burst to full speed, it just doesn't seem like what a jetpack would do.
