Crash sometimes corrupts save files if recently played

Sometimes my game crashes and some of my recent saves get corrupted backups are broken to. Please help I can’t recover my recent saves. This happens a lot and is usually caused by big explosions when I crash my ship or some times it just crashes out of the blue and breaks my saves.
