More lift - running up off a ramp

If my engineer is running up a ramp, in gravity, could the engineer get a little take off energy upwards, especially when jumping off at the end of the ramp.
I have tested this in game by measuring my landing spot and comparing the distance travel by jumping off at the end of a ramp and jumping from a point on a flat run. There is no difference in distance travelled, I see no differences in height, although this may visually subjective.
When walking off at the end of a ramp, I do not expect to be able to see any lift effect, but when running there should be something.
