Could be left empty for vanilla blocks but would be a great benefit for mods that add blocks of specific gameplay feature. This would make it easier to implement gameplay logic on blocks that would apply to all blocks of such ModType and makes easier for other mods to make specific models for such mods.


E.g.

"Mod A" uses terminal blocks type to implement power cables logic with a

<ModTypeId>PowerCables</<ModTypeId>

"Mod B" adds more model variations under same TypeId and ModTypeId in the .sbc and the logic would apply to those new added blocks as well. No need to change "Mod A" to include "Mod B" SubTypeId's
