I really enjoy Space engineers.
I like the challenge of building the machine.
The machine that can overcome problems that the world poses.
Although I can appreciate the looks of things, the thing I like most is how the machine functions, how I can change it, how I can make it function better.
I like how systems work together.
I like to see if I can control a complex system simply.
Machine go broom broom is OK for a bit and building vessels can be inspiring for an imagined story, but...
What I really like about Space Engineers is the engineering, the interaction of parts.
Conveyors, material processors, logic control, communication, weapons, wheels, sub grids, sensors, data processors, audio visuals, environmental systems, energy systems, others have suggested many more.
This may not be the place to mention all of this, but please, please do not forget the engineering in Space Engineers2.
