Using Linux, ProtonG, Vulcan game splash screen then nada

To begin: Space Engineers is platinum on Linux. ProtonG is the work Steam did with additional tweaks and fixes by a graphics programmer in the Linux community. While the splash displays the application start screen does not come up. I checked logs and no crash log was created by linux.
Symptoms:
Start Space Engineers 2
Build Vulcan library
Screen goes black then splash screen opens
After about a minute or less the application shuts down
Linux : Mint version 22.1 Cinnamon 6.4.8
Linux Kernel : 6.8.0-54-generic
Memory 29.1G free Hard Drives 3 terabytes free
Graphics NVIDIA AD107 (GeForce RTX 4060)
Display Server : X11
CPU AMD Ryzen 9 7940HX

Unfortunately, Space Engineers 2 runs only on Windows OS currently. Support for other systems is not in our scope at the moment. As such I am closing the thread.
