G Menu uses Amazon Web Services TCP connections 443

What does SE2 use Amazon Web Services for?
While in the G menu, anything clicked on whether it is a block or blueprint causes TCP connections to increase and communications with Amazon Web Services happens.
How to reproduce:
1) open the G menu
2) click on any block or blueprint, single click.
Each click opens more connections between Amazon.
