General Testing Empty World
FPS 170+, Asteroid generation is smooth, No plopping up, seems like they appear natural when closing in. The Skybox is beautiful and helps with the emersion that asteroids do not plopp into view when in renderrange. Asteroid pool of variation seems quite limited at this point because i noticed very similar Roids with the same distinctive marks.
FPS Drops down to 35 +/- 10 on view direction when inside Asteroids.
FPS recover to 40+ when 50m Away (measured with 2.5 Meter Cube block) and increasing rapidly, 80+fps when over 250m away.
General Testing at Concordia Research Facility
Spawnpoint FPS average at 42, Drops down when moving near the Asteroids. Voxels seem to be hungry.
Inside Red Ship average FPS 45.
Inside Blue ship average FPS 48. Big stutter when Autosave was doing its thing. Controling Blue ship average FPS 90+. Massive slow motion like game speed when crashing into things. Related to processing damage etc. Physics seems to not interact with broken parts that have no visual connection to its ship. The destroyed drill is spinning and this little piece is still connected to the ship and bumps me away. Physically it is disconnected.
After Reload of the World:
Average FPS inside green Base is 40. Activating flashlight in dark areas eats up 2 FPS max.
Looking out a window down at the Asteroid textures drops me down below 30fps.
