Interlocking triangular items (sloping windows)

It would be really great if, when we have a triangular window, that we could attach a triangular armour plate or block on the diagonal part to allow sloping windows. Alternatively it would be great if there were going to be window blocks where half the block was window, and the other half diagonally was armour.
I love having windows next to stairs on my ships but I'd like them to be able to be smooth lines, not descending squares.
