Grids randomly dent and deform

I did a partial copy and the copy preview was dented, I placed it and it dented the whole ship Possibly the ship copying the bugged state of the p-copy?
This sort of thing was happening on a static grid too.
This issue seems to be fairly common on my "Empty World" But in my 5 hours in the "Concordia" world didn't have this issue
(some form of block state, reset "debug tool" might be a good idea for creative / admin menu)
