Feature - Autoalign (roll) jetpack to horizon on planets
In SE1 when building on a planet with the jetpack I often got nausea after just an hour and had to stop playing for the day.
Flying back and forth on a planet to get materials and then back to building always end you up in the most unnatural position. In space this is no problem since you don't have a sense of rotation/alignment, but on planets it's really bothering.
Yes you can double tap Z once in a while to align but it's tedious and a bad user experience and would be much better if the game automatically did it for you. Take Subnautica for example. It always automatically aligns you to the horizon without you barely noticing.
Automatically align (roll) with horizon:
- would only work on planets with gravity while using the jetpack with inertia dampeners ON
- would not move your view to the horizon (pitch) if you look up or down, only align your roll (Subnautica style)
- would have a toggle so non nauseous upside-down jetpackers could have the feature disabled with the press of a button. In some situations it actually is useful to fly horizontal when you don't fit vertically
I really hope this could be implemented so us players with a tendency to get nauseous could have a better experience. Plus it would actually also be less confusing when jetpacking back and forth to actually keep your view. This is not the case in SE1 where the roll is offset each time you jetpack back and forth even if you do the same movements in reverse.
