Option to Lock Copy or Cutting a grid

In creative, the constant rotating with ctrl + WASD can sometimes clash with ctrl+X or ctrl+C.
Simply allowing players to lock a grid from getting copied or cut would be a great addition, that not only aids in a more streamlined control scheme, but also for design protection for when multiplayer is added and a player does not want their design stolen in game.
