Cannot fly through small spaces due to collision

While making a custom corridor, I began testing to see the if I could fly through a small one. Unfortunately even though the Engineer looks smaller than the opening he will not fit and cannot fly forward through it at this angle. he gets stuck here. when he can go no further forward he also can not go up down left or right either. but He can back out then go in any direction.
