Cannot place blueprint grids/modules
Submitted
The video is bad quality but I cannot seem to place any of my blueprints/grids that I have saved, or copy/past ones that exist.

I am also having this issue occasionally when cutting sections (ctrl +x) from ships imported from SE1.
There is usually a narrow angle I can visually see the ghost image of the cut grid if I ctrl + scroll it away from me and search around. However because I can only see or paste it far away at a specific angle, I can't use it in construction.

So I think I have a workaround for this (that works for me anyway) and a theory as to why it is happening.
I think it occurs when the origin point of the grid (or first block placed) is too far from the actual grid. I think its inheriting some positional data from that point and it's causing some clipping issues with whatever system displays the ghost of the bp or copied section. Copy pasting doesn't fix the issue if you can find the right angle to actually place the thing down, the copied grid inherits the same data. But if you use the CTRL+P copy function it creates a fresh section without the inherited data. So just copy the entire grid (hoping you still have the originals around that you made the BP's from) and paste it, delete the old BP's and create a new BP from the copied section.
Hope this helps!
